Fag Boy Kelly

Comedian Toby Halligan trades the mic for the brush: a new exhibition turns Ned Kelly's armour into a story about masking, survival and queer reclamation. Ned Kelly beat a stolen plough into a helmet so the bullets couldn't reach him.
Toby Halligan uses that iron mask as a way into a quieter
kind of armour — the kind a lot of queer people learn to build early and wear for years.
The show takes one of Australia's most mythologised outlaws and reads him through a gay man's experience of hiding, passing and moving carefully through spaces that weren't built for him.
